Born and raised in Tacoma, Lauren Angelo has lived in the area for all of her 36 years. She works in non-profit fund development for a local library system and is also the resident live singer for Tacoma Cabaret. Lauren loves the “beautiful stubborn optimism” that defines the city, with its great food, vibrant art scene, and diverse entertainment options. Most of all, she appreciates the sense of community and the way people in Tacoma genuinely care for one another. It’s this spirit that makes Tacoma feel like home for her.
