Katy Pascal has lived in Tacoma since 1999, after moving here with her husband from Southern California. Over the years, she’s raised her family and enjoyed being part of the vibrant community, with memories of local festivals, fishing, and exploring Tacoma’s outdoor spaces. Katy is an art teacher at Franklin Pierce High School, where she teaches pottery and advises the Native Culture Club. She’s passionate about encouraging creativity and even created a community art class framework. Katy loves Tacoma’s diversity and the opportunities to connect through art and events, especially the murals that make the city feel alive.
