Kristen “Kcie” Monk is a Tacoma native who has lived here her entire life, with the exception of a few years spent in Sapporo, Japan, as an assistant language teacher. Kcie works part-time as an illustrator and events attendant, blending her creative talents with her love for community engagement. What she loves most about Tacoma is its unique vibe—offering the energy of a city while maintaining the charm of a small town. From the stunning views of Mount Rainier to the local food scene and the welcoming people, Kcie finds it hard to imagine living anywhere else for long.
