Julie Collinge – CLICK HERE TO VOTE

Julie Collinge’s roots are firmly planted in the Pacific Northwest, although she was born in San Francisco. She grew up in the south end of Tacoma, near University Place, in the historic Titlow Family house close to Titlow Beach. Julie recently retired after a fulfilling career as a 2nd-grade teacher with the Kent School District. Prior to teaching, she spent many years as a graphic designer in both in-house departments and with a design firm in downtown Seattle. The Narrows Bridge area holds a special place in her heart, as she fondly remembers boating to Vashon Island for Sunday dinners with her grandmother. Julie cherishes her memories of the Puget Sound, from salmon bakes at Owen’s Beach to fishing, clamming, and enjoying the natural beauty of the water.
