The Sons of Legion (SØL) are bringing powerful vocals, soulful lyrics, and an upbeat rock show to the Emerald Queen Casino’s Event Center in Tacoma on Sunday, October 4, with their Soul to SØL World Tour 2026.

There are two VIP ticket options. The SØL Side Stage Experience includes one premium reserved ticket, an exclusive viewing opportunity from side stage, SØL Storytime! and soundcheck experience, a Q&A with the band, a group photo, one signed lyric sheet, one SØL tote, one commemorative laminate, and pre-show merch shopping. The Stand and Deliver Soundcheck Experience includes everything in the Side Stage Experience, minus the side stage viewing opportunity.
Adam McInnis and Jack “Daddy Jack” Crenshaw are the serendipitous pair who make up SØL. The duo met by chance, as they were born on opposite coasts: McInnis in New York and Crenshaw in California.
“This dynamic duo chose to walk the same musical path, creating a unique blend that defies geographical boundaries and genre constraints,” reads the SØL website.
In a blog post written by McInnis, he said they met at a songwriter’s night in East Nashville. McInnis described Crenshaw as having a “raw energy” that contained the “perfect blend” of grittiness and soulfulness of rock and blues music. They got together over whiskey after his performance, realizing their lives overlapped in more ways than just musically.
They realized they are both the youngest and seventh sons of their families, and their fathers have the same first name.
“That night, we made a pact. We would combine our talents, push each other out of our comfort zones, and create music that not only entertained but also inspired and transformed,” McInnis wrote. “We wanted to craft anthems for the courageous, songs that would resonate with those ready to break free and embrace life’s adventures. And just like that, Sons of Legion was born.”
Despite their humble beginning in the Music City, SØL is reaching fans globally. Their tour started at the Vic Theater in Chicago on September 12 and includes stops in Dublin, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin before wrapping up on November 10.
They have 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 169,000 subscribers on YouTube. SØL has released four albums: Acoustic Album (Live at the Barn), Stripped Album, Power, and Outlaw.
Power is a mini album composed of five original songs that were written, produced, and mixed by SØL. The songs offer a blend of rock, soul, and blues, providing intensity, powerful vocals, and strong backing tracks. The album tracks are “Power,” “Firestarter,” “Brand New Day,” “Alive,” and “In the Air Tonight.” McInnis’s raw vocals deliver themes of resilience, determination, and rebirth.
Outlaw features eight original songs written, produced, and mixed by SØL. This album leans more into the Southern grittiness and highlights the feelings of facing hardships in life. There are juxtaposing themes of defiance and honor.
McInnis wrote a blog post about “Runnin’,” which he calls “one of our most powerful tracks” from the album.
“This song came to life quickly; the lyrics just poured out of us in a 30-minute writing session,” he wrote. “It was one of the fastest songs we’ve ever created, and the experience was both exhilarating and a bit surreal.”
He goes on to say the song explores topics of change, belief, and the human tendency to run from things we need. It highlights the importance of facing change head-on rather than fearing it.
Authenticity is another underlying theme in the song, with the lyric “Be who you be, no promises in this life,” speaking to the idea that remaining true to yourself is important in a world full of uncertainty.
“We wanted to encourage listeners to embrace who they are while acknowledging life’s unpredictability,” McInnis wrote.
He also shares the thought process that went into creating the music video for the song. The video opens with McInnis and Crenshaw walking through a trailer park, then cuts quickly to them walking along a deserted highway, a neighborhood, a graffitied wall, the woods, and street performers. They are constantly walking in every scene, and the video never remains in one setting for more than a few seconds. This creates a feeling of always being in motion.
McInnis wrote that they wanted to strike a balance between a sense of urgency and what might be left behind if we are always moving forward.
“We worked hard to visually represent the internal struggle the lyrics describe: the push and pull between what we think we want and what we truly need,” McInnis wrote.
Acoustic Album (Live at the Barn) is described as a “soulful setlist” of live acoustic performances of fan-favorite songs. The album includes recordings of “Outlaw,” “Carolina,” and “Angels.”
Stripped Album was recorded live in Nashville with just vocals, piano, and guitar. The album pares down some of the band’s chart-topping releases. It’s available only as a digital download on the band’s website.
“Nashville gave us the room to breathe, to feel, and to let these songs live a little differently,” reads the album description on the website. “It’s intimate. It’s honest. It’s for you. No streaming. No noise. Just music.”
The album features the songs “Carry Me Home,” “Fall From Grace,” and “Firestarter,” among six others.
Beyond their albums, SØL has been featured on ESPN, Netflix, NBC, and in a Dodge Ram campaign.
At the Soul to SØL 2026 world tour, fans can expect a heartfelt, high-energy performance at EQC Tacoma this fall.
